Amazing and professional race director. Chris and his wife Anne are very supportive and do a great job at having fully staffed volunteers and aid stations. All the races are properly marked with unbelievable energy from all participants! Truly and amazing trail racing company
Blaze Trails Running is hands-down the best trail running/ultra running race company in Texas. The trails are always well-marked and you get to see a decent section of whatever part of Texas you’re racing in - you won’t be doing any 5 mile loops over and over again for long races at Blaze!
I’ve run multiple races put on by the Barnwells since 2013 or 2014, & each one has been a great experience. Trails are well-marked, aid stations well-stocked, and volunteers well-trained.
Blaze Trails is hands down the best running organization in Texas — period. I’ve had the pleasure of racing with them for several years now, and I have nothing but positive things to say about both the organization and the incredible people who show up to their events.
