I joined Lover Girl run club back in September 2025 after 10 months of not running. I was super nervous to put myself out there in a running group thinking I’d get left behind due to coming back and being slow. Immediately once I got there the girls made me feel super welcomed and it truly felt like a judge free zone.
I can't say enough good things about Lover Girl Run Club! As someone newer to Houston, this group has been an absolute game-changer for me. I've made genuine friendships and found my community here, which isn't always easy when you're new to a city.
I found LGRC through a TikTok over the summer, showing up alone can be intimidating but I had made it a goal to make at least ONE new friend this year. I have made more than one thanks for LGRC! It’s truly the best community filled with like minded, strong, independent women who uplift and encourage each other.
