From the reviews
I have joined some Saturday run clubs. I am not a big runner but I do it to challenge myself and for a workout. The run club has different lead runners for runners of all speeds. I have ran some 5ks as well. The annual turkey trot is fun!
I've been running with the Boston Road Runners for a few years now. I found them when I was living just outside of Boston and wanted a group to run long runs with. This group has all different paces and experience level.
I joined BRR within a month of moving to Boston and it was one of the best decisions I've made. It helped me to make friends and explore the city. Also, it really improved my running! Before joining I'd never run further than a 10k, now I am well into training for my first marathon in April!
