“They also have lots of training programs, including speedwork, core work, and their popular marathon training program.”
From the reviews
I've been a member of CARA on and off for several years. They offer some decent discounts on races and to various running stores and other businesses. You get a subscription to Runner's World with your membership.
Nobody does more to support running in Chicago than this fantastic organization.
I just finished training for my first marathon and I cannot say enough about how great the whole experience with CARA was. The enthusiasm, support, and endless and sincere encouragement made the grueling process of running 300+ miles over 18 weeks so enjoyable.
Awesome organization, not super familiar with you all, but just want to say that I’m very grateful for all the runs you put on and the water stops along the lake, it does not go unnoticed. Myself and many others appreciate all your hard work, early mornings, and volunteer efforts. Thank you!!
